And this is my story. Sound, smell, memory… so many things can transport us through time. Back to places, to people, to moments that we hold dear in our memory. One sound takes my mind back to 2007.

I was seventeen years old at the time, and we were having a substitute class with our school chaplain, Rad. He was a fantastic photographer and brought his camera to show us his photographic technique for the first time. My best friend and I were engrossed in the technical aspects of photography, so we were the first to show interest. Suddenly, his camera appeared on our desk. I had never seen anything like it before. And then it happened. I pressed the shutter button, and the sound of the shutter echoed in my ears for a long time. It was a sound I wanted to hear again and again. A sound that marked my life so much that I saved every penny to buy my own camera and to hear that sound again. That’s how it all started.

And it still continues in the same way today. Story, emotion, senses, that’s what I want to show in the photos of your wedding day. I invite you to embark on this journey with me.
